Santa Barbara Construction Company Finds Inspiration in Pop Up Build

Construction is an opportunity to create a space for people to come together. Whether it’s for family, art, work, or food, building a hub that helps foster human connection inspires us to be more inventive. One particular project of ours sparked our passion for building with a creative twist, The Liminal Project.

Manifest Building collaborated with Hans Valor and Miles Toland, two prominent California based artists, to bring to life The Liminal Project. Liminal is a wood framed pop up gallery, lit with Hybycozo pendants, that hosts three mural walls and a gallery / performance space designed for bringing inspirational art to transformational festivals. Liminal was built to represent the balance of dark and light and was originally conceived for the 2017 full solar eclipse in Oregon.

Constructing this building brought our team’s creativity and passion for art and nature to life. We shared this space with other festival goers to behold beautiful art and gain a stronger human connection.

Check out our build here, and be inspired.
